At the south entrance to Sankeien Garden.

Inside the garden. They had about 15 architectural pieces they moved from around the country in to be preserved. Some of the earliest ones were from the late 1400s.

A pond with some "snow" flowers on the right. I have no idea how to spell what the guide told me they are called in Japanese...but it means snow since the flowers are white and makes it look like trees are covered in snow.

They have these "fountains" near the shrines. You are supposed to wash your hands and also rinse your mouth to make yourself pure before paying respect to the deities.

I think they don't like selfie sticks here. they have all these posts around tourist spots that you can put your phone in and take a selfie. Pretty funny.

A statue on the island of Enoshima.

Have no idea what this is...you are supposed to pay 100 yen...which is about a dollar. Not sure what happens. Took picture because it is a replica of the mouth of the truth in Rome, Italy. It is supposed to be a lie detector. Starting from the Middle Ages, it was believed that if one told a lie with one's hand in the mouth of the sculpture, it would be bitten off. Not sure what it means or does here in Japan.

This chasm cuts through middle of island of Enoshima. Weird...but supposedly caused by tidal forces. It is huge chasm in the middle of the island.

This is the bell that couples are supposed to ring together to profess their love for each other. You can have your names engraved on the walls. Also, in the background there are lots of locks. You can put lock to solidify your love for each other like the bridge in Paris.
